Pink Peony

Peony plants are one of the most loved flowing plant in the Midwest. Its incredible beauty combined with the way it takes care of itself for decades results in peony bushes in almost any garden. This lovely blossom was seen at Swenson Garden’s, the world's largest organic garden located near Howard Lake, MN. Notice the abundance of lush pink petals,-each a bit different from its neighbor. The pinks of the petal can be seen repeated in the leaves and stems while the green of the leaves is repeated in the center of the bloom in 5 carpels which hold the seeds as they develop.
